Fine, with 17" no problems with EDC. :grin: :grin:
Do you know how check if EDC is working or not :

As you know now with 18" Alpina rims, it's impossible to see a difference between Confort and Sport.

According with that Stefan said , maybe my EDC is disconnect :!:

Hello Stefan,

If i understands well you advise 17" rims with Electronic Dump Control.
(it's my case)
You said 'Too difficult to drive 18" with EDC ' Which kind of problem; comfort, stability : :Drv1: :Drv1:
Do you know if CSI' rims exist in 17" :
I do not know what look like the Breyton Avalanche's rims that you want, but for me i consider that nothing is worth improvements made with original parts :!:

Hi Philippe,

I think the CSI rims looks to cheap ! and the price for new CSI rims is to expensive !
If the 850 had EDC, is the car with 18" rims to hard to drive and when you had xenon lights jump the light on the street ... to bad ...

Well then, 17" rims is better than 18" rims, ONLY if you had EDC !
And I want now Breyton Avalanche 17" rims for my 850, costs all 4 rims 750 Euro ! for me ....

I wish to move ahead for the purchase of new polished CSI's rims.

Can you confirm me availability and exact price as well and cost for normal transportation / sending items to France :

If you can send me a proforma by fax , it will be fine (33) 1 45 68 61 78.

No i dont buy new Alpina rims but they are only abute 8 month old.Its the soft line model.They look just as new.I will send pics for you.The sise of the new rims is 18"- 8 in front and 18"-9 in the back and the tires are 245-40 in front and 285-35 in the back.The guy who sell the rimes needed mony fast so i culd bargen alot he askt for 1800 euro but i giv only 1200 .

according with Janne we can still find CSI'S rims in Sweden.
There are 2 types of rims standard or polished.

What do you think : , witch one look better with the 8 séries :
I believed that you had already changed your rims last year :!:

Yes, right, 850CSI with the nice Champagner Color Seats............ ok
Regarding the meeting, would really be nice if you could make it and just keep in mind to inform me as soon as possible, so i can arrange the Hotel and so on, then i slowly have to Confirm all the Bookings as well (afterwards i might have to check the Hotel availability) -but we will always find a way

Thank you very much for a "welcome back"

Fredi sorry to disapoint you but i think you are confusing me with Angus.
I was in a black 850CSi with german number plate (MG:WF XXX) Some of you guys probably thought that i was rude not to speak to everyone. I don't actually live in Germany and i can't speak german (and understand german) .

The reason i can't plan ahead to go to the meet is mainly because of my job. Sometimes it is imposible to get days off. The distace does not really matter as i will be making my 8 a "Weekend only" car, getting a second car for everyday use (so read trip will not hurt once in a while).

But i WILL try to come for sure.
I also will try to be more in touch with the pulse if the comunity

Indeed i am missing you on my Reservation List
You can always have a look at the Actual Booking List under the Topic: Clubs,Veranstaltungen...... and in there the 2nd Posting Shows always the Actual Booking stand -which is just around 30 Cars now so remeber, driving your 840CIA is always fun and the way to Switzerland is ......with a 840 -just around the Corner and on........... but i really hope to see you when our BMW Family gets together in June
