Yes, thats right.
Replace the Thermostate. It is in Front of your Motor, behind the Cooling Propeller. You do not need to dismount ther Propeller. The Part cost about 55 EURO and after replace your Engine will be happy and your feet will be warm ....

Hello Philippe
I dont think that is the spoiler how curse the problem.I have the same problem last time in france.I changed the termostat and the heat sensor and the problem stopt. Its the termostat that not close properly then the engin run coold or warm. The sensor sits in the back of thr engin you have to remov the plastik who cover the vent intake then you will se it.
Good luck
Janne

Kuhlwassertemperature

Hello ,
I need a technical advice.
It seems to me that this subject is evoked on the main german forum by clube31 but i does not unterstand. : : :
I drive yesterday my 8 with very cold temperature (0°C) and i realized that the temperature indicator stayed towards the cold. :Drv:
I wonder if it comes not because i modified last summer the front spoiler to install a CSI' spoiler. which seems to set of more air in the engine.
For this CSI'configuration maybe there is a modification on the temperature probe(position or setting)?
Thanks for your help
PHILIPPE
